Puerto Vallarta is where Navira began, and it's still my home. I landed here in 2016 after years living between countries, and stayed for what makes this port unique: mountains dropping straight into the Pacific, a genuinely walkable old town and that rare mix of fishing village and cosmopolitan city.

Our two homes are in Puerto Vallarta, near Zona Romántica: Casa del Colibrí in Amapas (the southern edge of Zona Romántica, on Carretera Costera a Barra de Navidad) and Casa Cuba in Alta Vista, the hillside neighborhood just above Zona Romántica. It's not an "airport resort" — it's the part of town where people actually live.

Why Puerto Vallarta

Casa Cuba and Casa del Colibrí are two independent homes in two different Puerto Vallarta neighborhoods. Casa Cuba sits at C. Jacarandas 417, in Alta Vista — the hillside neighborhood directly above Zona Romántica. Casa del Colibrí is at Carretera Costera a Barra de Navidad 602, in Amapas, at the southern edge of Zona Romántica. Both put you within reach of Zona Romántica's restaurants and Playa Los Muertos; exact walking times depend on which one you pick.

Frequently asked questions

+Is booking direct with Navira cheaper than Airbnb?

Yes, 10–15% cheaper. When you book direct with us you skip the platform's service fee. Message us on WhatsApp with your dates and we'll send a quote.

+How close are you to the beach?

Three blocks — about a three-minute walk — to Playa Los Muertos, Zona Romántica's main beach.

+Is there a pool?

Each home has its own amenities — check the Casa Cuba and Casa del Colibrí listings for what's included at each.

+Is Puerto Vallarta safe?

Vallarta is one of Mexico's calmest tourist destinations. Zona Romántica in particular is very safe for walking day and night; standard city common sense applies.

+Can I manage without a car?

No problem. From Zona Romántica everything is walking, Uber, or the malecón mini-buses. Most of our guests don't rent a car.

+Are pets allowed?

It depends on the apartment and the season. Message us with your pet's details and we'll confirm.
