Isla Mujeres in 3 days: beaches, golf carts and ceviche
A relaxed three-day plan for the Caribbean's most charming little island.
Isla Mujeres is small enough to circle in an afternoon but layered enough to fill a week. Three days is the sweet spot.
Day 1 — Centro
Ferry from Puerto Juárez. Drop bags, rent a golf cart, lunch at Mango Café, sunset at Playa Norte.
Day 2 — Punta Sur
Golf cart south. Stop at the turtle farm, snorkel at Garrafón's natural area, lunch tacos at El Varadero. Watch the sun come up at Punta Sur the next morning if you can.
Day 3 — Slow
Beach club at Playa Norte, ceviche at Lola Valentina, mezcal at La Lomita to close out.
